FORMER OSUN STATE GOVERNOR RESIGNS FROM APC

Former Governor of Osun State and acting coordinator of ex-president Olusegun Obasanjo's Coalition for Nigeria Movement (CNM), Prince Olagunsoye Oyinlola, has resigned from the All Progressives Congress (APC).

 

Olagunsoye announced his resignation from the ruling party in a letter addressed to the Chairman of APC in Ward 1, Okuku, Odo Otin Local Government Area of Osun State and dated May 9th 2018.

 

Olagunsoye who worked for the victory of APC during the 2015 election, said he was leaving the party so he can concentrate in his new political affiliation, CNM.

"My resignation from the APC, therefore, is to enable me contribute more meaningfully to ongoing efforts at repositioning the politics of Nigeria for the good of the Nigerian people," he said.
