YOUTHS SHOULD BE MORE INVOLVED IN POLITICS,READ DETAILS

Nigeria's Minister of Youths and Sports, Solomon Dalung and his education counterpart, Adamu Adamu said that the country's youth should become more involved in politics.

The ministerial duo were speaking at the 2018 Commonwealth Day celebration on Monday in Abuja  where Dalung told Adamu to turn back the clock and bring back sports to Nigerian schools.

For the last four decades, the Commonwealth headed by British Monarch, Queen Elizabeth II has used the second Monday in the month of March each year, to celebrate the Commonwealth Day.

Marking this year's event in Abuja, Nigeria's Ministers of Youths and Sports and Education called for collaboration from other commonwealth nations on youth participation in politics and good governance.

Minister of Youths and Sports specifically called for the revival of school sports and scholarships to promising sportsmen and women.
