YES IGBOS NEED FREEDOM,BUT KANU A LIAR NOT THE MESSIAH-GOV IKPEAZU

Abia State Governor Okezie Ikpeazu has described the missing leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, as a constant liar and that he never consulted him before taking any action.

"Whenever you talk with Nnamdi Kanu, he always speaks from both sides of his mouth; he is not a straightforward person. He never consulted me before taking any action," Ikpeazu said.
The governor made this claims during an interview with the recently launched British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) Igbo.

Ikpeazu, who said there was no doubt that Igbo people are being marginalised in Nigeria, however said that there was need for the people to discuss as one on how to get out of the situation.
He said, "Although we all agreed that we Igbos are being marginalised but we should sit down and discuss the way out."

Also accepting that there was need for Ndigbo to have a leader who could lead them to the Promise Land, the governor argued that such a person should not be Kanu, who according to him, hates the governors from the region despite their love for him.

"Nnamdi Kanu hates South East governors, he does not want to associate with us despite the love we have for him.
"It's true that Igbos are being marginalised but how can we get to the promise land? Who will lead the Igbos to the promise land? Do we have enough guns if war should break out?"
