President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan GCFR,Commissions theFirst Batch of Newly Acquired Patrol Vehicles for The Nigeria Police Force (2,564 Operational Vehicles)


Commissioning of First Batch of Newly Acquired Patrol Vehicles for The Nigeria Police Force (2,564 Operational Vehicles) by His Excellency, President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan GCFR, at The Eagle Square, Abuja on Sunday 1st February, 2015.

The first Batch of these patrol vehicles being commissioned today by Mr. President, represented by His Excellency, Vice President Arc. Mohammed Namadi Sambo GCON comprises of:

i. 170 Nissan NP 300 Hard Body Patrol Pick Up Vans
ii. 129 Nissan Frontier Double Cabin Patrol Vehicles
iii. 50 Nissan Patrol 4WD Jeeps
iv. 10 Toyota Double Cabin Armoured Patrol Vans
v. 4 Ford 550 Model 4x4 State-of-the-Art Armoured Personnel Carriers.

In line with the Local Content Policy of the current administration, the procurement of Two Thousand, Five Hundred and Fifty of these vehicles is being undertaken by an indigenous company.
