A large number of mums, dads, kids and fashion lovers stepped away from their regular lives last Saturday, November 8th 2014, to attend a children fashion show and exhibition organized by Minime Children Collections. Minime Children Collection is an exclusive children clothing line.
Minime Children Collection unveiled its new collection; “Bows and Buttons”.
The “Bow and Buttons” collection as the name implies is an array of exquisite, symmetric pieces characterized with bows and buttons.
Mrs.Victoria ifeanyi Adigun is the personality behind Minime Children Collection. Soft spoken and an obvious children lover, she gave the RATTI CREW a brief insight to the brand and her plans for the future.
Ratti Crew: Tell us a little about Minime Children Collection.
Victoria Ifeanyi Adigun: Minime Children Collection is a clothing line that makes clothes for children of all ages.
Ratti Crew : Besides children clothing, do you design for adults?
Victoria Ifeanyi Adigun: No, we make clothes for children only, however we intend to do a “Twin collection” for older children between the ages of 11 and 12.
Ratti Crew: when did Minime officially open to the public?
Victoria Ifeanyi Adigun: we officially open December 2012
Ratti Crew: from what we saw at the fashion show, you use only African fabrics, is that you signature or do you substitute?
Victoria Ifeanyi Adigun: we use strictly African fabrics. We believe in making good looking contemporary children clothing from indigenous fabrics.
Ratti Crew: how are Nigerians accepting this unique style (children clothes made with Ankara)
Victoria Ifeanyi Adigun: the reception is good and we believe it will only get better.
Ratti Crew: should we look forward to another fashion show and exhibition from Minime Children collection?
Victoria Ifeanyi Adigun: yes! We will definitely show case newer collections as days go by.
